The 2024 Australian Meat Industy Council State Sausage King and Best Butcher Burger Awards were held at a the annual Gala Dinner in Melbourne on Saturday night Oct 5th 2024. This event highlights the Best of the Best Butchers following from the results of the regional Winners of the competition.
This year we had 3 finalists competing following on from the regional results in July 2024:
Sausage King Australian Lamb Sausage Category- 1st Place Lamb, Honey, Mint and Rosemary
Lamb Burger Category- 1st Place Aussie Lamb Burger
Sausage King Gourmet/Open Class Sausage Category- 1st Place Cracked Pepper and Worcestershire Beef Sausage.

We are so very proud and excited to announce that we have been awarded not 1 but 3 prestigious awards!!
1st Place Gold Winner: Australian Lamb Sausage- Lamb Honey, Mint and Rosemary Sausage
2nd Place Silver Award: Gourmet/Open class sausage- Cracked Pepper and Worcestershire Beef Sausage
3rd Place Bronze Award: Best Butcher Lamb Burger- Aussie Lamb Burger
Our Sausages and Burgers standout we believe as a result of the excellence we strive to achieve to be the best at what we do. Highest local quality ingredients and the fact that our Butchers have been practicing their craft for a very long time, hand linking the sausages using natural casings. We listen to our customers to deliver the best.
This Year we collected 3 major awards at the State Gala Dinner, more than any other Butcher in Victoria, and we couldnt be more proud of our Team and the outstanding achieved results.
